License updated, close as keep. Angus McLellan (Talk) 12:47, 10 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- Originally upped via our Non-Free content policy. Unused and recently tagged for deletion as failing the NFCC policy it was "declined" and the license changed, yet there is no description, no date and no author listed. The "source" is given as "18 Infantry Division Messina". Soundvisions1 (talk) 11:58, 21 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- Image license has been changed to simple geometry. Simple horizontal stripes did not appear to meet the threshold of originality on Wikipedia. mechamind90 05:34, 22 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep This is PD-ineligible. --MGA73 (talk) 18:46, 29 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete. This is most likely ineligible, however, it's also orphaned, and I don't really see the need to keep it around or move it to Commons. SchuminWeb (Talk) 01:26, 4 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was: moving to ifd. Files marked as fair use should not be nominated here as we already know they are non-free. --B (talk) 18:39, 21 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- File:General alcazar.jpg (delete | talk | history | logs).
- Invalid fair use claim. The image is not discussed in the article, and other free examples of Ligne claire exist eg Scott Mac 18:32, 21 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was: delete, in the sense of let's-move-it-to-Commons-and-see-how-it-does. Reading the Commons discussion, it seems that we do indeed have a very good argument that this is in fact public domain. And since it looks like it would fail fair use on en.wiki, we might as well move it over, because if we can't have it on Commons, we won't be able to host it locally, either. - File:CastRH.JPG (delete | talk | history | logs).
- British, and published less than 70 years ago, so as far as I know no chance it is public domain. —innotata 19:15, 21 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- It looks like it probably is public domain: here's a DR on Commons for another image from the show commons:Commons:Deletion requests/File:Adventures Robin Hood opening.png. —innotata 14:58, 22 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- Or not. It looks like the laws for film apply, see Commons again. —innotata 21:59, 23 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
